Completed Project: NOFD Engine 36

Lachin Architects is proud to share the completion photos of New Orleans Fire Department Engine 36. The New Orleans 4th Fire District Headquarters was designed to replace the existing flood damaged fire station. The project was designed with phased construction to allow for continued operation of fire engine apparatus serving the community. Therefore, the apparatus bays, living quarters, and essential sitework were constructed under Phase 1, allowing uninterrupted service during demolition of existing apparatus bays under Phase 2. The building design includes 4 apparatus bays, locker rooms, a fitness room, a commercial kitchen, individual dorm rooms, offices and a day room.
