The Ascension Parish School Board's Office/Warehouse facility in Gonzales is wrapping up. The project was part of the flood repairs program following the Great Flood of 2016. Our previous experience with FEMA guidelines and applications of the 50% rule resulted in a fully funded building replacement in lieu of the partial renovation initially identified by FEMA. Our extensive disaster assistance-related successes also prepared us to handle the meticulous documentation required to ensure all project costs were accurately allocated and trackable by FEMA.
