Fireman's Charitable and Benevolent Association Office Building
The Fireman's Charitable and Benevolent Association office building was designed for one of the most respected organizations in the City of New Orleans. Formed in the mid 1800's, they have become one of the largest owners and operators of cemetery properties in the area. LACHIN Architects was selected to design their new home office building centrally located in the city and within the gates of historic Greenwood Cemetery. The new two story 12,000 sf building was designed to reflect the Egyptian revival style in keeping with the design aesthetics of nearby buildings owned by the organization. The building offers broad vistas over the cemetery grounds, a great central location, and additional lease spaces for expansion of multiple tenancies, including the new office of LACHIN Architects.
