Chalmette High School began a full-scale overhaul of their sports facilities starting with the football and baseball facilities. Soon after, under the Chalmette High Sports Fields project, the softball and tennis facilities were updated. The softball facility includes a new NHSAA-sized artificial turf softball field, dugouts, batting cages, bleachers and canopies, and an elevated press box. The tennis facility includes four new NHSAA-sized concrete tennis courts as well as adjacent bleachers and canopies. Also a part of the Sports Fields project was a concession building utilized by both the softball and tennis spectators.
